Tell us about him/her. Marie Bahneman, a beloved resident of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for the past 12 years, passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on January 10, 1943, Marie lived a full and vibrant life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Marie was a loving spouse to her husband Carl until his death in 2009, a devoted mother to her two children, Kendra (Hans) Haywood and Matthew (Heather) Bahneman and to her two grandchildren (Audrey Haywood and Cash Bahneman). Marie was also a beloved sister to Dee (John) Gargotta and Paul (Kathy) Papariello (predeceased 2012), as well as a beloved aunt to Vito Papariello and Nicole (Chris) Troisi and a great aunt to Alexander and Michael Troisi. Family meant everything to Marie, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Beyond her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Marie was a talented artist who found joy and solace in painting. She was also an excellent cook, delighting her family and friends with delicious meals made with love and care. She loved to try new recipes and host loved ones every chance she had. Marie's warm spirit and kind heart touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her presence brought light and joy into the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting impression that will be remembered for years to come. Marie's 11-year battle with Alzheimer's disease was a challenging journey, but she faced it with grace and bravery. Though the disease may have taken her memories, it could never erase the love and impact she had on others. Marie leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
