Step Up to the Plate for KHS and the Animals!

The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) is excited to welcome you to our 28th annual Waggin' Trail Festival for the Animals. This signature fundraising event and celebration of the animals we all love will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Louisville Slugger Field from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. So bring your friends and family, both two and four-legged, and join us as we come together to support our community's canine, feline and equine friends.

More than just peanuts and cracker jacks, Waggin' Trail Festival for the Animals is the largest animal festival in the area, drawing more than 1,500 humans, canines and other pets to support animals in Kentucky. This year, KHS has covered all the bases to make this fun-filled day at the ballpark the best Waggin' Trail yet! The festival will be stocked with major league vendors for both our human and canine fans, animal booths, great music and paw-some activities for every member of your family.

Over the past 28 years, Waggin' Trail Festival for the Animals has raised more than $1 million to support the lifesaving programs of the Kentucky Humane Society. Please join us this year as we continue this important tradition to support dogs, cats and horses in need and participate in the Festival's Waggin' Trail Fundraising Challenge! The first step is to register and set a personal or team fundraising goal to help the Kentucky Humane Society raise $120,000 through this year's Waggin' Trail Festival to help even more homeless and needy dogs, cats and horses.

Register today to join fellow animal champions from across Kentucky and the region to help support KHS' lifesaving programs to help animals in need. Whether you're attending and fundraising for KHS by yourself, with your family or assembling a Waggin' Trail team, together we can ensure that every companion animal in our community is given the care, resources and loving homes they deserve.

Registration is $35 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under.
Day-of entry will be available at the door for $10.
