Hi, I’m Sophia!

I have been living at WAHS for nearly 4 months and while I have enjoyed my time here, I am really hoping to find my furever home soon!

Since you are here, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I absolutely LOVE to give hugs. I’m not sure when this started, but I love putting smiles on people’s faces. Sometimes it surprises people when I give them a hug, I guess not every doggo does that? But! I’m always up for it. Having a bad day? Upset about something? Just need a friend? Bring it in!

I also enjoy tasty treats. I’m not a picky eater, I love them all, as long as they smell good of course. I have also been told I am very smart. I love learning new things. Plus, put a treat in your hand and I’ll do almost anything!

I have been waiting a long time to find my furever family. I hope when the time comes that they will be patient with me because I can sometimes be nervous around new people and in new places. Because of this it would be great if I could be the only animal in the home with no children. I also hope that my future family will understand that because I am so smart and love learning new things, I will need to continue working with a trainer even after I am adopted.
