Walk 4 Warmth 2025 supporting Community Action of Allegan County

As winter comes to an end, our Allegan County community still faces a chilling reality: the funds for utility assistance have been cut significantly, leaving many families and individuals struggling to keep their homes warm and the lights on. This alarming situation calls for a united effort from our community to raise awareness and support our neighbors in need. That's why we invite you to participate in or donate to the Walk 4 Warmth 5K and Charity Walk fundraiser—an initiative that aims to raise funds for utility assistance for struggling Allegan County families.
Walk 4 Warmth is about more than just providing immediate relief; it's about enabling long-term resilience. Since 2022, it has taken an average of $690 to help one family. By helping provide families and individuals with access to essential utilities, we can give them the stability they need to focus on education, employment, and personal growth. Whether you sponsor the event, register for the 5K, raise donations for the family-friendly Charity Walk, or volunteer, your contribution is crucial!
When the basic needs of a community are met, it paves the way for self-sufficiency and self-reliance. It's a powerful cycle that ripples through generations, fostering a community that thrives, not just survives.
