All proceeds for this year’s Walk will go towards our programs and new multi-purpose, community based center that helps those with disabilities and learning challenges master in-demand skills for the workplace and beyond. Let your loved one discover their enjoyment of work and purposeful life.
A first-of-its-kind employment skills and workforce training program, which will operate from the new Life’s WORC “WORC Force Center,” slated to open later this year. The multi-purpose community-based center will offer a range of programs for individuals with autism, special needs, and developmental disabilities, to enhance and develop specific skills for the workplace and beyond.
Operating beneath Life’s WORC’s Supportive Employment and Employment Services, the new program will help individuals identify their calling, enjoy a greater sense of community, and a live with a greater sense of joy. The community center will be equipped with multiple training centers, including a retail environment, office workspaces, an automotive shop, a professional kitchen, and various other workplace settings. It will also be home to gatherings, presentations, community events, and recreational opportunities for participants in Life’s WORC’s programs.
