Rebekah Fonden, a survivor of sex trafficking and a participant in The WAVE Foundation's Legal Hope program, talks about how Legal Hope has helped her clear legal barriers and build hope for the future. She explains how sexual assault and homelessness led her to be vulnerable to trafficking and how her trafficker used the same methods of a domestic violence abuser to control her.
We planned to recognize our volunteers at our in-person Gala, so we’d like to recognize them here for their hours of donated time and support of The WAVE Foundation.
