About Westchester Challenge 21 2019
GiGi’s Playhouse Westchester is on a mission to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all.
We change lives through our consistent delivery of free educational and therapeutic-based programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. While our programs are free to our families, they are not free to run.
The Challenge is for 21 families to each to raise $2,100 dollars in the month of October. October, Down Syndrome Awareness Month, is a wonderful opportunity for us to do a fundraising drive so we can meet our goals and continue to serve our community. Your participation in this Challenge will enable us to continue to provide a total of 14 programs while making a positive difference in the lives of our participants.

Through free programs and through our Generation G Campaign for global acceptance, we EMPOWER families by maximizing opportunities for daily achievement and lasting acceptance. To ensure lasting acceptance, we must show the world what individuals with Down syndrome are truly capable of achieving as students, co-workers, volunteers, friends, and valued members of their communities. Our program outcomes help advance this vital social impact goal.
