On behalf of the Barb Smith Suicide Resource & Response Network, I want to express our deep appreciation for your part in making the 22nd Annual Walk for Hope successful! The Walk raises funds that support trainings in suicide prevention and intervention and provides resources in aftercare.

Your donation will contribute to making the Walk a positive experience for all who attend and help to extend the impact of the Barb Smith Suicide Resource & Response Network across the Great Lakes Bay Region.

August 4, 2024 is the date for the Walk for Hope on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University where we hope to gather to walk in honor of someone lost to suicide, show support for those struggling with mental illness and to promote mental wellness. The day will be filled with messages of hope, peace and love. We look forward to enjoying music, food, guest speakers, crafts and children’s activities.

As we continue throughout the year to promote the Zero Suicide initiative the Barb Smith Suicide Resource & Response Network will promote mental wellness and train thousands of people in the healthcare, behavioral health systems, and the community. With your help we will reach our goal to foster awareness and education to prevent suicide and offer support for those who have lost a loved one to suicide.
