When You Give Campaign

Overnight stays, meals, showers, napping rooms, play spaces, laundry rooms, on-site schooling for siblings and young patients — these resources are available to families in need when you give to RMHC-San Diego. This campaign begins in March and continues throughout 2022 in support of our core mission services.

A past family, who resided at our House for more than two years, recently shared, “Without families like yours giving so generously, we wouldn’t have been able to be with our kids while they were in their worst medical moments. Thank you for giving us time, energy, focus, and strength as we endure hardships we must and look with hope toward their recovery. Our load is lighter because you give.”

San Diego's Ronald McDonald House and COVID-19

We're here for families in their time of need, throughout the challenges of the pandemic, thanks to outstanding community support. With our hospital partners and following CDC, state, and local guidance, we follow our comprehensive, multi-stage plan to allow for safe operations amidst pandemic surges.

When you give, you support lodging, meals, and more to keep families together and strong during their child’s medical crisis. Your compassionate gift helps take care of life’s basics, so families can better focus on getting their child well and home again.

Your gift will be matched, up to $160,000, thanks to the When You Give campaign Year End Match Fund provided by Nancy Stanley and Family and other generous community leaders. Donations to this campaign will support essential lodging and care services to sustain families as they care for their critically ill children far from home.

This 1:1 match, that began on October 1st, will make an individual donor’s gift received go twice as far. A $1,000 unrestricted gift will bring in $1,000 through the Year End Match Fund. $10,000 will bring in $10,000 to help even more children and families, until the match is completed.

Thank you for the comfort and relief you make possible when you give.
