About Wilson-Gray YMCA Building a Stronger Future Together
We proudly present Building A Stronger Futures Together through youth, achievement, cultivation, maturity. Our focus is to highlight all the positive programs, staff, and volunteers who are committed to growing and building upon the vibrancy of Hartford’s Northend. The YMCA offers programs focusing on college & career exploration for teens as well as the Community Safety Coalition which provides violence prevention, mental health support, and addresses food insecurities within the local community.
The virtual event is free, but donations are welcomed in advance of the Building Stronger Futures Together event. More than ever we need your support! We are faced with immense financial challenges in the midst of a world pandemic and your support will go a long way to sustaining programs that transform lives.

We invite you to join us at our upcoming virtual fundraiser Building A Stronger Future Together on October 22nd. Our focus is to highlight the positive programs, staff, and volunteers who are committed to growing and building upon the vibrancy of Hartford’s North End. The event will include an inspiring message by Kevin Washington, current President and CEO of Y-USA and former President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Hartford. Young adults who have been deeply impacted by the Y will share their story along with current volunteers and supporters.

The Wilson-Gray YMCA is a cornerstone in Hartford’s North End that provides the Hartford community with accessible life-changing programs. Through partnerships, like the Community Safety Coalition, we are able to address food insecurities, offer mental health support, and provide real-time crisis response.
