Liz VanHorn currently owns YoChef’s Catering Co. along with her husband Joseff VanHorn. The business was founded November 4, 2009.

Liz wears many hats at YoChef’s. She is responsible for Human Resources, Sales, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Liz graduated from American Travel School in 1988.

After High school Liz worked for Thrifty Car Rental, Holiday Inn, Travel Consultants and Witte Travel.

Liz married Joseff VanHorn in 1998 and had her first child Gabrielle, June of 2000. Gabrielle had a lot of medical needs and Liz and Joseff made the decision for Liz to stay home and care for Gabrielle.

Liz and Joseff had another daughter Olivia in 2005 and a son Josef in 2008. Gabrielle passed away in 2014. In 2009 Liz helped her husband start his business. Liz worked mostly at home and when all the kids started school she worked at the office. Liz also helped Joseff with catering and craft services on 3 out of the 10 movies he catered in Grand Rapids.

Liz is on committees that she is very passionate about. Liz has been on the Make A Wish committee for about 14 yrs. and the last 5yrs had a team for Walk for Wishes in honor of Gabrielle, who was also a wish child. 2 years ago, Liz joined her mother and became a Board Member of Pannonia.
