About The Windsor Police Service in support of SADVTC 2025

The Windsor Police Service is proud to announce their fundraising efforts for the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre (SA/DVTC), May 1st to May 31st, 2025.

The Windsor Police Service will be onsite at Devonshire Mall, May 8 - 10, 2025.  They will have interactive displays and demonstrations, as well as amazing give aways and prizes, all in support of Windsor Regional Hospital's SA/DVTC.

Throughout the month of May, the Windsor Police Service will be raising funds and awareness for the services and programs available at the SA/DVTC.  Funds raised will provide much needed support for victims of domestic and sexual assault for all ages.  Access to these essential services will ensure victims receive treatment and support while maintaining their privacy and protection.

May is Sexual Violence Prevention Month.  For more information, please visit this website: https://sexualassaultsupport.ca/may-is-sexual-violence-prevention-month/

“The Windsor Police Service is proud to work with Windsor Regional Hospital and other community partners to ensure victims have access to the proper treatment and resources. The Sexual Assault Treatment Centre provides comprehensive care and justice for survivors of sexual assault. This meaningful work not only ensures timely and specialized medical attention, but also facilitates a seamless integration of forensic evidence collection, which is vital for our investigations.”
