Welcome to my page! As you all know by now, it is my favorite time of year: time for our annual Young Professionals Committee Crohn's and Colitis Foundation event! This year, like last year, we will be hosting a virtual event. But by now you know that we do NOT disappoint when we host an event! And this year will be no different! Introducing Stories from the Gut! This year our virtual event will truly be an experience, filled with heartwarming, informative, and obviously hilarious, stories from our members, delivered in an incredibly unique way. Tune in on June 24th at 8pm to see our show come to life! Get your tickets here: http://bit.ly/StoriesFromTheGut

Besides buying a ticket, here's how you can help: Make a donation by clicking the "Donate" button on this very page. Tickets for the event will be on sale soon, so stay tuned!

Next, let's get to WHY you should help...

As most of you reading this already know, my involvement with the Foundation began several years ago in support of my husband, Chip, who has ulcerative colitis. (And whose birthday happens to be on event night this year!) The YP summer event was my first introduction to the Foundation and the Young Professionals Committee, and I couldn't wait to get involved! Several years later I am Co-President and still just as passionate about this cause and these wonderful people I've met through my involvement.

At meetings and events for the Foundation, we often talk about our "why," or our reason for getting and staying passionate about the mission. For me, that's never changed. Every day I hope that the work that I'm doing with the Foundation will in some small way contribute to a better, healthier life for my amazing husband. He does so much to love and support me in everything that I do, so I work hard through this committee to show my love and support for his health.

Thank you for visiting my page and for taking the time to read about the event and my involvement. And don't forget to watch on June 24th!
