How your Support Makes a Difference

The Power of Sports

Special Olympics offers free year-round training and competition opportunities in up to 11 sports for athletes of all abilities. Athletes have the opportunity to be part of a team, form lasting friendships and take pride in their abilities.

Unified Champion Schools®

Students of all abilities have the power to enhance their school communities by promoting social inclusion. Special Olympics Unified Schools empowers youth and educators to be leaders of change. Our programs are in more than 600 schools and impact more than 136,000 students

Inclusive Health

Individuals with intellectual disabilities deserve the same access to proper healthcare as anyone else. Special Olympics is a leader in inclusive health by offering free health screenings, resources, and equipment to athletes while working with healthcare providers to raise awareness about the specific needs of the intellectual disability community.

Athlete Leadership

The Athlete Leadership Program provides training and opportunities for athletes to be advocates and create meaningful change. Athletes receive tools for public speaking, professional development and more while being empowered to take on leadership roles in Special Olympics and in their communities.
