Your investment in our fundraiser is the difference between a good education and a great one. The program is designed to provide our schools with the ability to invest in areas that are needed most throughout a school year. Funding provides strategic investments in our student curriculum and programs, including funding flexibility for our teachers to purchase materials that have the power power to transform learning for all students.
The program is built upon our commitment to our Catholic social teachings of (a) Call to Family, Community, and Participation, (b) Option for the Poor and Vulnerable, and (c) Solidarity.
As members of the Church, Jesus calls us to be disciples and instructs us to put the needs of the poor and vulnerable first. We have partnered with Food Finders Food Bank, Inc. and offer a voluntary service component for all families to share in with their students. The first 10% of all support will go to financially support food insecurity in our local community.
Because of people like you, we raised over $47,000 last year. With your support we invested in new learning programs, provided additional support to our teachers, made school enhancements, supplied over 15,000 meals to the poor and vulnerable, and donated more than 1,665 pounds of food.
This year, we are making strategic investments in our math programs, investing in classroom areas that are most needed, providing support to our teachers to purchase materials that have the power to transform learning for all students and partnering with Food Finders Food Bank to support food insecurity in our local community.
The fundraiser is the one annual fundraiser to directly support our pre- and elementary schools. 94 cents of every dollar donated will go to support our schools and philanthropic community partner.
