About the Cause
We have set a goal of $100,000 for the 2022-23 athletic seasons. This goal will allow us to fund important 4-year placement trips across all sports, as well as allowing for additional scholarships, enhanced training equipment and top of the line facilities.
In addition to those items, we are fundraising with an eye towards the future. Improvements to baseball and softball outdoor batting cages, enhancing the soccer complex and an indoor golf facility lead the way as we think of ways to widen our lead on the rest of our competitors.
How Your Support Makes a Difference
Your support allows us to continue to provide our student-athletes with the best junior college experience in the Midwest. We pride ourselves on moving our student-athletes on to 4-year schools and all proceeds go directly towards our student-athletes and our goal of moving them on to their next destination.
The Heartland Community College Athletic Department consists of 9 teams (baseball, softball, men’s & women’s soccer, men’s & women’s cross country, men’s golf, volleyball and eSports) competing at the Division II level in the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association). The department host’s between 150-200 student-athletes on a yearly basis and prides itself in performance in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. The Hawks are entering their 14th year of competitive athletics in 2022.
Fundraising serves an incredibly important role in allowing us to provide the Midwest's premier junior college athletic experience. Please give as much as you are able in helping us support our student-athletes and improving our department.
