2022 Walk for Children

Last year, 450 Next Door Virtual Walk for Children participants walked, ran, and rode 8,463 miles to help build brighter futures for our children at Next Door.    

Our week-long Walk challenge offers participants the opportunity to set their own distance goal and invite friends to join them as they walk, run, or roll a mile for a child. Our goal is to raise $75,000 in support of high quality, early childhood programs that create the foundation for children’s success in school.   

This year we’re excited to offer Silver Sponsors and above a Pop-up Walk for Children experience. This new opportunity gives sponsors the ability to engage employees and promote health and wellness, while supporting the most important work in Milwaukee. Schedule your Pop-up Walk at a time and location that works best for you and your team.     

Next Door will provide you with all of the materials you need to host a fun and engaging Walk with one of our team members onsite to help you every step of the way. Prior to your event you’ll receive: 

• Walk participation door signs to help get your team excited 
• A Walk for Children branded giveaway for each member of your team 
• Props and a background banner to create your own photo booth 
• Email templates for you to use to send to your team 
• A special Walk playlist, signage, pom-poms, and stickers  

On event day a Next Door team members will be on-hand to help you set up your Walk and distribute  t-shirts to anyone on your team who has personally raised $100 or more – we’ll even help you clean up! 

Your support of the Walk for Children helps us provide vital programming and materials for children ages birth to five in our community.  We can’t do this critical work without your support.
