About Day of Giving 2025

Join our Day of Giving to celebrate and support Sion on Sunday, May 4th!

Donations for Day of Giving support the Sion Fund, our annual appeal that provides unrestricted funds for Sion to use in their areas of greatest need, and to help close the gap between tuition and the true cost of a Sion education. We would not be where we are today without your support. The annual fund provides the resources needed to continue redefining excellence in a Sion education. Thanks to the generous contributions of our Sion community, we've seen recent successes on both our campuses:

  • 97% of graduating senior students were accepted to their first or second-choice college, earning $15.8 million in merit scholarships.

  • Experiential travel took students to Spain, Mexico, Kenya, Joshua Tree National Park, and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

  • 80% of our grade school students scored highly proficient and advanced in Math and 78% of our students scored highly proficient and advanced in Reading on the NWEA

  • Faculty attended professional development at Yale, Notre Dame, Creighton, the Smithsonian, Morocco, & Walden Pond.

  • Sports Championships were claimed: High School State Champs in Soccer and Dive (Individual), High School National Champs Dance Small Varsity Kick, High School District Champs in Basketball and Volleyball; Grade School PLKC City Basketball Champions for 5th grade girls, 6th grade boys, and 7th & 8th grade boys.
