Your gift to the 2025 Newhouse Gala directly supports survivors of domestic violence and the comprehensive, trauma-informed care that Newhouse provides every single day. As Kansas City’s oldest domestic violence shelter, Newhouse is more than a safe place—it’s a hub of healing, advocacy, and empowerment. Every dollar raised through the Gala helps break the cycle of abuse and fuels the holistic services survivors and their families need to rebuild their lives.

Your donation helps fund:

Emergency shelter and long-term housing
Therapy for all ages and individualized case management
Legal advocacy and substance recovery support
Early Learning Center for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
Children’s Center for Education and Healing for grades K–12
Job readiness programs and transportation assistance
Nutritious meals and daily necessities
