About the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR)

LETR is Special Olympics' largest grassroots fundraiser and awareness campaign. Each year, law enforcement officers—known as the Guardians of the Flame—carry the “Flame of Hope” to symbolize unity, inclusion, and support for athletes across the state.

Throughout May and June, officers across Colorado will participate in the 2025 Torch Run Series, raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics Colorado.
