2025 St. Ignatius Fun Run & Polar Plunge supporting Special Olympics Northern California

Support Special Olympics Northern California and the St. Ignatius boys and girls Lacrosse teams at the annual St. Ignatius Fun Run & Polar Plunge on Saturday, May 3, 2025, on the St. Ignatius campus. The proceeds benefit Special Olympics Northern California, and the year-round programs offered for free to individuals with intellectual disabilities and 30% of the total raised will be donated back to St. Ignatius to support the boys and girls Lacrosse teams. Invite your family to register too! Remember the more funds raised, the more Special Olympics and St. Ignatius benefit! If they can't attend but still want to help? They can register as remote Plungers and any incentives they earn will be mailed to them.
Your participation, and the funds you raise, will directly support our inclusive sports, health, schools and leadership programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Raise $1,500 or more and your school will earn 30% of the total amount you raise back to your school to use however you wish.
Through Special Olympics, our athletes build friendships, overcome obstacles and are empowered to realize their full potential. Success on the field leads to more opportunities in daily life as the community learns about the unique abilities and contributions of our athletes. All Special Olympics programs are provided at no cost to the athletes and their families thanks to your support.
The On-Campus Polar Plunge is a crazy Special Olympics event taking place on a school campus in which brave students and supporters raise funds and then participate in a "plunge" or other school activity to show their dedication for our athletes. Students will have a blast and feel good knowing that the funds raised will help Special Olympics change lives.
Schools that raise $1,500 or more will have 30% of the total they raise donated back to their school to use however they wish.
