The walk this year will be held on August 15, 2026!

Welcome to our fundraising & silent auction website for the 11th annual Anacortes Cancer Walk. We are so grateful that you are joining us. We encourage you to take a few moments and explore the site and read about all of the exciting additions we have added this year. We will have weekly challenges & activities (both physically and fundraising), we are also continuing the Anacortes Anchor Project and most importantly we will be sharing stories from cancer patients and their loved ones and celebrating those who have left us too soon.

This year will be an in person & virtual walk. What does that mean?

IF YOU CHOOSE TO WALK IN PERSON WITH US:

We will meet at Seafarers' Memorial Park at 8:30am on August 15th and begin walking at 9:00am. The suggested route is 10 miles but you can walk as little or as much as you want. We will have one water/food station along the route and our bikers will be back to deliver goodies along the route to keep you hydrated and energized!

IF YOU CHOOSE TO WALK ANOTHER DAY OR ANOTHER LOCATION:

You will create your own route and distance. Please document your walk by taking photographs, jotting down a few special things that happen along your walk, or create a video.

Whether you walk in person with us or in your location on August 15th we will check in with one another throughout the day on this website and on our Facebook group page by posting our pictures, and by sending inspirational messages to each other.

We encourage you to register early to take full advantage of all of our activties planned leading up to walk day. Please register by July 20th to receive a t-shirt by walk day (August 15th). Your shirt will be delivered to your doorstep if you live in Anacortes, mailed if out of town, or pick up available on walk day.

We encourage you to participate from all over the world!

WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO?

2026 is a very special year! All proceeds go to the Your Story Foundation Medical Relief Fund.
