How do I Plunge? 🐧

To participate in the Polar Plunge:
1️⃣ Register online or in person on event day.
2️⃣ Meet the fundraising minimum.
3️⃣ Sign the waiver.
4️⃣ PLUNGE! 🎉

You can participate as an individual or with a team of any size.

How much do I need to fundraise?

The fundraising minimum to participate is:

• $80 for adults.
• $50 for students and SOCO athletes.

⚠️ Important: The race registration fee does NOT count toward this minimum.

What do I wear to Plunge? 

Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged!
You can wear anything, including bathing suits, but:
🚫NO DIVING SUITS allowed.
 SHOES MAY NOT BE WORN IN THE POOL

What should I bring?

• 🛁 A towel.
• 👕 A change of clothes to change into.

Where do I change after my Plunge?

Heated changing tents will be available.

Where can I put my belongings if I’m running and Plunging?

A bag-check service will be available at the Registration/Check-in table. Volunteers will provide a ticket for your belongings.⏰ Please pick up your items by 12:00 PM.

How do I fundraise to reach my minimum?

• Ask friends, family, neighbors, or coworkers to donate $10–$15 to support your Plunge for Inclusion!

What happens if I don’t reach my fundraising minimum?

• If you’re on a team, check with your Team Captain for help.
• If you’re plunging individually, you must meet your fundraising minimum to participate.
