Why We Run

Every mile matters. Every step counts.

💙 Proudly part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run 💙

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest public awareness movement for Special Olympics, bringing law enforcement and communities together in support of Special Olympics Montana athletes.

Here in Montana, the LETR Hot Pursuit 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run unite law enforcement, first responders, SOMT athletes, families, and neighbors for a fun, high-energy event built on connection, inclusion, and shared purpose.

Every registration and every mile helps promote respect, inclusion, and opportunity while proving what’s possible when people come together side by side.

Why It Matters

100% of proceeds benefit Special Olympics Montana, helping provide year-round sports training, competitions, health programs, and leadership opportunities for more than 4,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Together, we build relationships that uplift officers and athletes while creating spaces where individuals with intellectual disabilities can thrive, gain confidence, and break down barriers.

Thank you for your support!
