2025 Northeast Softball and Bocce - Volunteer Registration supporting Special Olympics Colorado

Join Us as a Volunteer for the Annual Special Olympics Colorado Northeast Regional Softball & Bocce Competition!
Be part of the action as athletes take the field and the court in this exciting regional competition! Whether you're assisting with scorekeeping, athlete support, or awards, your involvement helps create a smooth, spirited, and inclusive experience for everyone involved.
VOLUNTEER ROLES INCLUDE:
Assisting with equipment setup and venue preparation
Serving as a Softball Scorekeeper, Bocce Court Monitor, or Awards Assistant (training provided—no prior experience required!)
Supporting athletes during competition and helping maintain game flow
Assisting with check-in, hydration stations, and general logistics
Helping with tear-down and clean-up at the end of the event

📅 Date: Sunday, July 27, 2025
📍 Location: Barnes Fairground - 405 S. Cleveland Ave. Loveland, CO 80537
🚗 Parking: Free general parking available on-site
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:
Comfortable clothes (volunteer t-shirt provided)
Closed-toe shoes (required)
Water bottle to stay hydrated
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and other sun protection
VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS:
Need verification for school, work, or service requirements? Email Denise Hulstrom after the event at dhulstrom@specialolympicsco.org for a confirmation letter.
VOLUNTEER AGE GUIDELINES:
Ages 16+ may volunteer independently
Ages 8–15 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone
Ages 7 and under may attend as cheerleaders with adult supervision (no volunteer duties assigned; no ticket required)
Group Supervision: A 3:1 child-to-adult ratio is required for youth groups (e.g., schools, scouts)
