Race Day Information

Everything you need to know for the Rubber Duckie Race & Festival.

Schedule of Race Events

  • 1:30 PM: Race packet pick-up and onsite registration opens
  • 2:00 PM: Enjoy the festival games and food trucks
  • 3:15 PM: Kids’ Duckling Dash race announcements and line up, followed by race instructions
  • 3:30 PM: Kids’ Duckling Dash begins: ages 6–12 first, followed by ages 2–5
  • 3:45 PM: 1-Mile Duckie Dash announcements and lineup, followed by race instructions
  • 4:00 PM: 1-Mile Duckie Dash starts
  • 4:45 PM: Race winners announced and race prizes awarded
  • 5:00 PM: Event concludes

Packet Pick-Up

Upon arrival at the festival, head straight to the registration area to pick up your race packet.

Location: Race registration table in front of the large festival game tent

Time: Packet pick-up opens at 1:30 PM and closes at 3:00 PM

What’s Included: Your race bib and Schreiber swag

Tip: Arrive early to avoid the rush and give yourself time to warm up before the race

Parking Information

Please enter the campus using Apostles Way off Marietta Avenue.

Parking attendants will direct you to the appropriate parking areas. If you require handicapped parking, please enter from Community Way and a parking attendant will direct you to the handicapped parking area.

Race Day Instructions

  • Arrive early for check-in and packet pick-up.
  • Pin your bib on the front of your shirt for timing and photos.
  • Warm up with light stretching or jogging.
  • Line up by pace, with fast runners in front and walkers or slower participants toward the back.
  • Listen to announcements for any updates.
  • Follow the course and stay hydrated.
  • After crossing the finish line, keep moving to avoid congestion.
  • Cool down with a complimentary refreshment and enjoy the award ceremony.
