About 2026 Guardian of the Flame Hockey Tournament

IT'S TIME FOR HOCKEY IN JULY

Get ready for an action-packed weekend of hockey and heart as we bring together Colorado’s Law Enforcement Torch Run Officers, local communities, and Special Olympics Colorado for the 19th Annual Guardian of the Flame Hockey Tournament!

This two-day event is not just about the game—it's about coming together to make a difference. Join us for a fun-filled weekend of competition while raising critical funds to support athletes with intellectual disabilities.

3 Divisions, 2 days, 1 GUARDIAN OF THE FLAME!

WHY PARTICIPATE?

The Guardian of the Flame Hockey Tournament was created by a passionate group of law Special Olympics Colorado athletes. Now in its 19th year, this annual tournament has raised over $500,000 to support athletes, helping them compete, grow, and thrive in sports they love.

Goal for This Year: $40,000

Your participation directly supports 30,000+ Special Olympics Colorado athletes, providing them with the resources, training, and opportunities they need to excel. Every registration, donation, and cheer you give helps create a brighter future for these athletes!

ABOUT LETR

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is an incredible global movement where law enforcement officers work hand-in-hand with communities to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics. Across the world, LETR officers serve as the “Guardians of the Flame,” igniting the torch of hope and inclusion through their fundraising and advocacy.

With over 30,000 athletes in Colorado alone, the Torch Run’s work has a profound impact, giving every athlete the opportunity to compete, succeed, and build lifelong friendships. Together, we are making a lasting difference—one game, one event, and one athlete at a time.
