2026 Southeast Regional Basketball Tournament - Volunteer Registration supporting Special Olympics Colorado

Special Olympics Colorado
Join us for the 2026 Southeast Regional Basketball Tournament, hosted by Special Olympics Colorado! This annual event brings together athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete in basketball while showcasing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The day is centered on celebrating athlete achievement and creating an exciting, welcoming competition environment.
This year’s competition will take place across two venues:
CSU Pueblo
Pueblo County High School
Volunteers play a critical role in supporting the event by assisting with athlete check-in, guiding teams and spectators, supporting competition areas, and helping ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Please check in promptly at the designated Volunteer Registration table at your assigned venue (CSU Pueblo or Pueblo County High School). Your specific check-in location will be provided prior to the event.
Please arrive on time, as we will be working on a tight schedule. During check-in, volunteers will receive assignments and further instructions.
Your check-in time is also the start time of your volunteer shift. Orientation and role-specific training will occur before competition begins.
We ask all volunteers to remain flexible in their assigned roles. Assignments are based on immediate competition needs and may change throughout the day.
Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and non-slip athletic shoes. Volunteers should wear a Special Olympics Colorado volunteer t-shirt if provided, or other attire appropriate for a sports environment.
Hospitality centers with snacks and drinks will be available throughout the day at both venues for volunteers.
Free parking will be available at both CSU Pueblo and Pueblo County High School. Additional parking instructions will be sent prior to the event.
If you need confirmation of service hours, please report back to the volunteer registration desk at your venue after your shift for signatures or documentation.
