Is there a shipping option for my race packet?
Yes! A packet shipment option is available for an additional $15.00 at check out. After the shirts are sold out, the cost will go down to $7.00. This fee is based off of material, labor and shipping costs.
Please make sure you enter in your correct address at registration. Marklund will not be responsible for any misdirected packets.

Is there a deadline for packet shipments?
Registrants that wish to have their packets shipped must choose to do so before April 1st. Packets will ship on April 1st and arrive within 3-8 business days.
After April 1st, the shipment option will be closed and new participants will be expected to retrieve their packets during our pick- up dates below.
Does the shipping cost cover more than one registrant?
No, the shipping fee is on an individual basis only. Please select the shipping option for each individual registration at check out if you wish to get more than one shipped to a single household.
Individuals are allowed to retrieve multiple registrant's packets at our packet pick-up dates listed below - as long as each participant is notified.
Where can I pick up my packet before Sunday, April 18th?

Yes, individual t-shirts are available for $20.00 each. Visit the "Get Involved" tab located in the navigation bar and drop down to the "Shirt Only Purchase" page. This will close after March 18th.
Is there a deadline to receive a shirt?
All participants that register before March 18th will be guaranteed an event shirt.
After March 18th, shirt quantities and sizes will vary and will not be guaranteed to individuals that register after this time.
When does registration close?
Online registration closes Monday, April 12th at 11:59 PM.
In-person registration will be open during our packet pick-up dates.
How do I participate in a VIRTUAL 5K/1Mile event?
1) Choose your course- treadmill, neighborhood, local path, etc.
2) Set your distance and timer (5K = 3.1 Miles). If you’re outside, try downloading a free and user-friendly running app, such as RunKeeper or MapMyRun
3) Count down… and Run, Walk or Roll to show your support for Marklund
4) Cross your personal 5K or 1Mile finish line and stop those timers
5) 5K Participants ONLY: Enter in your time and fill out your finisher certificate by clicking the Timing link. NOTE: the timing site will open on 12 AM on Thursday, April 15th and close 11:59 PM on Sunday, April 18th
We believe in using the “honor system”, so please be courteous of other participants by entering in your correct time!
1 Mile Participants: Fill out your finisher certificate located on Marklund's web page.
5K and 1 Mile: Post your distance, time and a fun picture to social media, tagging @MarklundCharity and using #RunWalkandRoll #MarklundStrong

My child is a resident at Marklund, will they get the opportunity to participate?
If there are no positive COVID cases or testing being performed during the month of April, residents and staff at the Marklund Philip Center will have their own RW&R celebration on campus!
Will there be Awards given for the 5K?
Awards will be given to the top 2 male and female finishers in each of the following divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-60, and 70+
Please give us enough time to order and send out awards after Sunday, April 18th.
Will there be awards given to the Top Fundraisers?
Individuals and team leaders that fundraise $100 + will enter into our GRAND PRIZE raffle for a $200 Amazon Gift Card .
Raise $250 + for entry into the fundraising grand prize raffle AND a guaranteed prize mailed to your door after the event.
