A Breath of Hope invites you to join the 2024 Climb For Hope Challenge, our LCAM campaign to encourage awareness, hope, and learning during November–Lung Cancer Awareness Month. The ABOH Climb For Hope challenges you to reach new heights in your dedication to conquering lung cancer and improving your own lung function. You simply set the number of stair steps you hope to climb during November or if the physical activity doesn’t work for you, focus on a fundraising journey.

How Do I Participate?

This year ABOH is inviting motivated supporters to participate in one of two ways: as a Hope Climber or as a Hope Fundraiser. Both types of registrants will be eligible for prizes–awarded by highest points–at the end of the month!

-Hope Climbers are participants who take on the challenge to complete a set goal for the number of stair steps climbed in the month of November as well as participate in a fundraising competition. Hope Climbers are awarded points based on the number of steps completed, fundraising dollars raised, recruiting others, and social media participation.

-Hope Fundraisers accept the challenge to set a goal and raise a certain amount of fundraising dollars in November. Hope Fundraisers are awarded points solely based on fundraising dollars driven into ABOH.

Note: Please mention on your page and to ABOH (LCAM@abreathofhope.org) if you are a Hope Climber or Hope Fundraiser!

How Do I Win Prizes?

Recruiting others to join - 10 points/participant
Fundraising - 1 point/every dollar donated (this is the only way Fundraisers can earn points)
Social Media - Post a Video or Photo - 10 points/post
Steps - 1 point/every step (uploaded on "Manage My Page" by every Thursday)

Note: visit "Manage my page" for options on how to upload photos, videos, links, to create a fundraiser, and more. This is also where you record your stair steps, under the Stair Steps activity.

Prizes for winners (based on points earned through our system):

First place Climber: $200 gift card
Second place Climber: $100 gift card
First place Fundraiser: $250 gift card for Continental Diamond
Second place Fundraiser: $100 gift card
Participant Raffle (all participants entered once registered): A Holiday Gift Basket
