You won’t want to miss this sunny 5K run/walk in SW Florida to raise awareness about lung cancer, fund cutting edge research, and support patients and caregivers.
Join us at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 7:30 -11 a.m. Enjoy the 5K run or walk with collectible t-shirts, prizes, snacks, patient stories and resources, updates from a leading oncologist, a special ceremony to remember your loved ones, and fellowship with a community that understands.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the U.S., claiming 130,000 American lives each year - that's close to 400 people each day. It's by far the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women, making up almost 25% of all cancer deaths. Each year, more people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined! Currently, only 23% of those diagnosed will live five years past their diagnosis.
A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation works to end lung cancer by funding innovative U.S. research, educating the public for earlier detection, and supporting patients and families living with lung cancer. We have grown steadily since the first run/walk in 2007 and have invested more than $2 Million in lung cancer research.
