Hi {{firstName}},

Thanks so much for signing up for the AHRC Foundation Walk! We are so thrilled to have you walking, raising funds, and supporting our mission to advance the supports and opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living on Long Island.

Start fundraising. Every dollar you raise makes an impact. Consider making the first donation to get things going. Then ask friends and family to donate by using one of our email templates in your participant center or with a post on social media.

You can see your progress and edit your page at {{participantEditUrl}}. Here are a few tips to make it easier for you to reach your goals.

Add a photo and a personal note. Pages with a story behind them raise more — share why you're walking.
Invite your friends personally. Send them directly to your page at {{participantUrl}} so they can register and support you directly - or start your own team to walk alongside you.
Share on social media. It's one of the easiest ways to reach people and for them to have them support your effort!
