ANA Synchro is the competitive artistic swimming team of the Andover/North Andover YMCA. Artistic swimming combines music, dance and swimming into 'The Ultimate Team Sport'. Through the artistry and athletics of artistic swimming and team competition, athletes build lifelong friendships, healthy living behaviors and leadership skills. They learn to set goals and work hard to achieve them, both as individuals and as team members. The team embraces the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility to provide a positive and character-building experience.

The team is open to athletes ages 6 to 20 and offers multiple levels of participation, from those that want fun, friendships and healthy exercise, to those that want travel and to compete nationally.

Our success is built upon a world-class coaching staff, supported by enthusiastic volunteers and generous donors. Our head coach, Leah Mucci, joined the team in 2013. She was previously caption of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Selection Team and a nine-year veteran of the U.S. National Synchronized Swimming Team. Mucci was named U.S.A. Synchro's 2014 Developmental Coach of the Year and the 2015 East Zone Coach of the Year.
