About Walk For Autism Awareness and Acceptance 2024

Join the Autism Society of Berks County for our 21st Annual Walk for Autism Awareness and Acceptance to be held on Sunday September 15, 2024 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Come join us and enjoy children’s activities with Miss Amy, music therapy with Cindy Long, yoga with the Creation Yoga team, a photo booth, a magician, autism merchandise, lots of food, dozens of drawings, numerous Resource Tables, a special Walk Challenge, and prizes for the top Team and Individual Fundraisers!

The Walk for Autism Awareness and Acceptance provides a unique opportunity to meet with hundreds of Berks County families impacted by autism. You will have the opportunity to meet new families, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy the day while we celebrate the Autism Community of Berks County!

Why Participate?

This fun, family-friendly event helps the Autism Society of Berks County raise funds that directly benefit those affected by Autism right here in Berks County.

This is our major fundraiser of the year.  All funds raised remain in Berks County to provide information and support for individuals, their families, and professionals through community awareness, education and resources related to Autism.  Funds raised have enabled us to provide music therapy groups, social connections classes, yoga groups, monthly family events, and special events free of charge to hundreds of Autistic individuals each year.
