Zoo Walk

Thank you for signing up to volunteer! Your participation as a volunteer is critical to the success of our fundraising event. There are a range of volunteer opportunities available and plenty of ways you can get involved and show your support. Volunteers receive a 2024 Zoo Walk t-shirt and complimentary access to the Phoenix Zoo on the day of the event. Volunteers will be needed on Sunday, April 7 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Please see below for the list of available volunteer opportunities. Volunteers will be assigned one of the tasks from the list below. Please complete the volunteer registration form by clicking 'Become a Volunteer' button at the bottom of this page.​

Zoo Walk Greeter

• Welcome attendees to the event
• Direct event attendees to registration and check-in booths

Zoo Walk Line/Path Attendant

• Help manage lines that form at registration and activities
• Stand along the walk path, direct, and cheer on walkers

Zoo Walk T-Shirt Booth Attendant

• Greet attendees
• Hand out t-shirts to attendees

Zoo Walk Volunteer Check-In Attendant

• Check-in volunteers as they arrive
• Hand out volunteer t-shirts
• Direct volunteers to their assigned area
• Provide volunteers with instructions for their assigned area

Zoo Walk Water Station Attendant

• Cheer on attendees
• Stand at water station along the path of the walk
• Hand out water as attendees pass by
• Restock the water station

Zoo Walk Registration Attendant

• Greet attendees
• Check-in pre-registered attendees as they arrive
• Register attendees that did not pre-register
• Hand out Zoo wristbands to attendees
