About AZBD Zoo Walk

The Arizona Bleeding Disorders Zoo Walk is a non-competitive 5K walk where family, friends, community and corporate teams come together to walk in honor and in memory of those whose lives have been affected by bleeding disorders. This annual event raises vital funds to help support and bring awareness to the needs of the bleeding disorders community in Arizona.

When: Sunday, April 7, 2024
Check-In: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Walk: 8:00 a.m.— 9:00 a.m.

Where: The Phoenix Zoo 455 Galvin Parkway Phoenix, AZ 85008

We’re seeking to raise $50,000 this year, and we need your help!

All participants will raise funds by collecting donations from their friends, family, and co-workers. Whether you wish to walk or simply register to be a fundraiser, your efforts will help improve the quality of life of those individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders. You will be providing caring support, quality education and targeted advocacy aimed at enhancing medical care and insurance coverage for the community.

Registration Fee:
18 years and older: $25.00
Ages 13-17: $10.00
12 years and younger: No Fee - $5 Suggested Donation Encouraged

You can register online and start your personal fundraising with a $25 minimum donation, $10 minimum donation for ages 13-17; a minimum donation is not mandatory for children (12 years and younger). Each registered walker will receive a wrist band to enjoy all day admittance to the Phoenix Zoo as well as the option to receive a 2024 commemorative walk t-shirt*.

Sponsor a Participant: While we understand that this event is a great Community Event, it is also a Fundraising Event that helps us to support the numerous other community events that we host throughout the year free of charge. It has never been easier to help an Arizona Bleeding Disorders Community Member who may not be able to fund their own registration fee, but still wants to register to walk. If you are able to contribute an additional registration donation amount, we ask that you help “Sponsor a Participant” on the home page and we will apply those additional funds towards member registration on a first come first served basis.
