The Sacramento Sheriff's Office and the Citrus Heights Police Department are raising funds for Special Olympics Northern California. On November 21, they'll be collecting your spare change in front of Miller's Ace Hardware in Citrus Heights with all proceeds supporting the sports, health, educational and athlete leadership programs that Special Olympics offers to children and adults with intellectual disabilities for free. These programs enrich the lives of participants, building confidence and self-esteem helping to make them contributing members in their communities.
If you cannot make a donation in person, donate now. Every dollar counts! Support Special Olympics and change a life.
The funds raised from this campaign will support the many sports, education and health programming offered to children and adults with intellectual disabilities right in your own community. All programs are completely free to our athletes which is why your support is so important.
