What is Ballin’ on Belrose?

Ballin’ on Belrose is more than a walk/run — it’s a community movement.

Hosted proudly by 68 Ventures, the Cox Family Foundation, the City of Daphne, Press & Co., and our incredible sponsors, this high-energy event takes place on Belrose Avenue in Olde Towne Daphne, stretching from Main Street to the shores of Mobile Bay.

It’s a day designed for all ages — complete with DJ music at the top and bottom of the hill, food and drinks, a kids’ play area, face painting, cold plunge, photo ops, and more. Belrose Avenue is a party, the hill is legendary, and the purpose is powerful. So, from the serious competitors to the strollers, this event is for you.

Named Ballin’ in honor of the Baller Dream Foundation, this event raises funds to support children and young adults battling cancer — providing encouragement, comfort, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that lift their spirits during life’s toughest fight.

Participating as an Individual

Sign up as an individual or bring the whole family.

Participants run or walk up Belrose Hill as many times as they can. One lap or all 11 — every step counts. Whether you’re pushing for the podium or pushing a stroller, the goal is simple: show up, have fun, and make an impact.

For those going all in:

Medals will be awarded to first-place male and female finishers in the kid, adult, and senior divisions.
And yes — we’ll even award a medal to the first dog to conquer all 11 trips up the hill.

Non-Profit Partners

Bring your supporters. Climb the hill. Make it count.

The nonprofit with the most completed laps will receive:

$10,000 for 1st Place
$7,500 for 2nd Place
$5,000 for 3rd Place

Each participant must designate the nonprofit they’re racing for during online registration or at check-in before race start. Nonprofit participants can use promo code “nonprofit” to register at the discounted rate of $15.
