The 2nd annual Race to Cure Sarcoma Baltimore will be a VIRTUAL event!
The highest priority of the Sarcoma Foundation of America is the health and safety of our community. To that end, although we hoped to have an in person Race to Cure Sarcoma Baltimore event this year, the current COVID situation has caused us to take the most cautious path and host the event virtually again this year.
What does this mean?
Run, walk, bike in your neighborhood, favorite park or treadmill on October 23 and share pictures and videos on the Race to Cure Sarcoma Baltimore Facebook page. Registered participants will receive a race packet that consists of a RTCS t-shirt, medal, and race bib. Please register by October 1st to receive a t-shirt. Registrations received after October 1st will receive medal and race bib.
We appreciate the support we received from the Baltimore community virtually in 2020. We hope you will support us again this year!
With the pandemic changing so much in our world, one thing remains constant: SFA's dedication to our mission. Sarcoma patients need our help more than ever and we invite you to join us at this critical time of need.
What you need to know:
Date: October 23, 2021
Location: Anywhere you'd like!
Registration fee: $35.00
We will be awarding top team fundraisers, individual fundraisers, and most team participation, for the event.
Register and set up your participant page. You can post pictures and personalize your page with your story and why you are supporting sarcoma research and patients. To make an even bigger impact, encourage friends and family to join you by starting your own team!
If you're already registered, then keep fundraising, and invite your friends to join you and register as walker/runner! They can be anywhere in the country and support you and sarcoma research!
Spread the word! Have your friends and family join you in this event. Create a fundraising team and challenge each other to hit your goals. Share your efforts on social media and use the hashtag #RTCSBaltimore to connect with others who are participating.
Together we can find a cure!
When you choose to take part in the Race to Cure Sarcoma Baltimore, you are choosing to join hundreds of others who want to make a difference for sarcoma patients and their families. Join us and the sarcoma community and be a part of the premier run/walk series in the United States focused on raising awareness and research funds for sarcoma.
Funds raised through RTCS Baltimore drives innovative sarcoma research nationally, through the Sarcoma Foundation of America, and locally through the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
