Putt-A-Round 2022

Questions & Answers:

1. I forgot my password for registration, what do I do?
Click on the button where it says "Forgot Password," when logging into your account. It is right under where you would login in and entered your email.
2. Do I need to bring a putter and ball?
For sanitary purposes, this year we recommend players bring their own putter and a ball if they have one. However, BBBS will have putters and balls available onsite for those that need them, which will be sanitized after every shift/usage.
NOTE: BBBS and the RiverCenter will not be responsible for any lost or forgotten clubs (please keep it close at hand at all times).

3. How long will it take to play?
Allow for 2 hours to enjoy your round of miniature golf, socialize with others and partake in the food available during your shift.  You are not required to play all holes, but we encourage you to play as many as you can in the time allotted.

4. What are the parking options?
  • RiverCenter Ramp at 3rd and Brady.
  • Street parking in downtown Davenport
  • Lot behind RiverCenter on 4th is owned by Hotel Blackhawk – NOT to be used for events

5. What do I do upon arrival?
  • Report to the Great Hall at the RiverCenter.  This is the south building, between 2nd and 3rd street.
  • Each person on your team should report to CHECK-IN, located in the foyer outside the hall - every person will receive an ENTRY number that is used for various drawings and contests during play.
  • After Check In, go inside the hall to get your putter and ball (if needed).  You will also receive a scorecard and your starting hole.  Please go to hole you’ve been assigned to help keep teams spread out as evenly as possible, which helps with flow and the time required to play.

6. Is there a coat and/or purse check?
Yes, there will be coat racks in the foyer to the hall then just inside the entrance there will be a staffed purse check (free of charge) for all players to use.

7. What forms of payment do I need?
Please bring cash to pay for beverages at the Clubhouse and to purchase tickets for the following opportunities:
  • Raffle drawings:  There will be 15 prize drawings, valued at $100 or more, for attendees to purchase tickets for to enter.  Tickets will be sold in Raffle Packs for $20 each, which can be purchased with cash, check or debit cards; NOTE: credit card payments will not be accepted (per an Iowa State law on raffles).
Cash, check, debit and credit cards will be accepted for any unpaid registration fees.

8. What if I am running late or arrive early?
No problem, please still come if you are late and if you are early, you can hang out in the foyer until doors open at the scheduled time.  Please note early access to the hall will not be available for the 6:00 shifts to allow BBBS time to retrieve putters and balls and prepare to serve food at the Clubhouse for the next group of teams.

9. Is Registration available onsite?
Yes, based on availability. The Friday Night 6-8 p.m. shift is sold out, but the other 5 shifts still availability at this time. We will continue to post any updates to this on our website and Facebook page.

10. What are Putt Challenges?
The challenges are friendly competitions amongst businesses, clubs or organizations within a similar industry or field.
For example, on Wednesday night there will be a Financial Institution Challenge which is for any bank, credit union, financial business or wealth management company that wishes to participate.  The winning team (with the lowest score) will win bragging rights and a traveling trophy for a year.
If you have not heard about this and want to participate, you are welcome to.  Please select the challenge when you register.  And…if you cannot attend the shift when the challenge is being held, that’s okay.  You are welcome to attend any shift and still be part of the challenge.  Scores will be recorded and monitored from all shifts before a winning team/institution is determined.
