Survivor and Thriver Celebration Area
The Survivor and Thriver area is a celebration of the courage and strength of survivors and those living with cancer. Survivors and thrivers can join us at Ed Hales Park to meet Stater Bros. Markets’ Healthy for You vendors and Believe Walk community partners to learn about their cancer programs and resources.
Survivors are encouraged to ring the Survivor Bell to receive a special gift.
Bark & Believe sponsored by Varner & Brandt
The Believe Walk is a dog-friendly event. Our furry friends can stop by the Bark & Believe booth on State Street for doggie treats. Water stations are also available along the walk route to keep your fur babies hydrated.
As a reminder, pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets. To ensure everyone is safe and happy, please review the doggie checklist under Event Details.
Annie Sellas, Cathy Stockton, and the late Nancy Varner crossed paths in what they believe was divine intervention.
Each had cancer at some point in their life. One was in treatment, another was in remission, and another was still receiving her final test results.
It was a time of their lives they would never forget and a time where their friendship deepened into a sisterly bond of encouragement, love, and support.

Believe Walk Four Pillars of Care
The Believe Walk’s mission is focused on four core pillars of cancer care: increasing AWARENESS in our local communities, SUPPORT for patients, caregivers, and survivors, expanding TREATMENT, and enhancing WELLNESS for those impacted by cancer.
Fighting Cancer. Saving Lives.
Every dollar raised helps provide hope, healing, and happiness to so many lives affected by this terrible disease.
Your fundraising dollars are critical to sustaining life-saving treatment and support services to ensure cancer patients get the quality care they need.
The fundraising efforts of the Believe Walk community play a critical role in advancing cancer care and support services in our local communities. Your donations support local organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer.
Michelle's Place Cancer Resource Center is located in Riverside County and is the only cancer resource center in that region. Watch the video and hear the story about Michelle's Place and how your donations are advancing cancer care!
"Michelle didn't want others to go through treatment not having answers and the resources that they needed, so we needed to make sure that could go on even if she isn't here."
Michelle's Sister, Leilani Watson Eazell
