I was diagnosed with Breast cancer in November 2023, and I am currently in remission.
I also lost my job when I was diagnosed with cancer, so I was worried I might lose my home during treatment. My journey would have been harder, and I don’t know what would have happened if not for the help of the Desert Cancer Foundation. I might have opted for a less aggressive treatment plan to avoid such financial stress.
The Desert Cancer Foundation generously covered my medical expenses, allowing me to concentrate on paying my housing costs and resting at home during chemotherapy and recovery from surgery.
