I was diagnosed in January 2022, days before my 40th birthday. I felt something and went to my doctor and found out I had Breast cancer. I went through chemotherapy and was told this would cause a lot of stress on my body, and it did. This also took motherhood away from me.
The Desert Cancer Foundation helped me when I was let go from my job and no longer had health insurance. They assisted me with my insurance payments, as I couldn’t financially pay for my $728 insurance premiums, and gave me peace of mind.
