Believe…

in Playing, Laughing, and Living Life to the Fullest

Everest Gothro

Our son, Everest, was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) a month after his fourth birthday, and our world turned upside down. The fear, the uncertainty, and the long days in the hospital became our new normal. But today, I’m grateful to say Everest is living in remission.

Reaching this point was difficult. There were countless chemo treatments, hospital stays, and emotional highs and lows. He smiled despite the pain, found joy in small things, and daily reminded us of what true courage is.

To families currently going through treatment: please hold onto hope. There were times when we felt overwhelmed, but we were never alone. We are grateful to the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, which supported us throughout this journey and helped us through the toughest moments of treatment. Every step, no matter how difficult, is a step closer to healing.

Everest is now doing what he loves—playing, laughing, and living life to the fullest. His story proves that there is life after diagnosis. There is remission. There is hope.

You are not alone. And you are stronger than you think.
