As someone living with NED (No Evidence of Disease), I am proof that cancer research saves lives. Research can improve treatments, provide more options, and give hope for the future.
It’s through these advancements that we push the boundaries of what is possible in cancer care. My message to you is that advocating for cancer research funding is more crucial than ever, especially with current threats to funding.
As someone who benefited from a breast cancer clinical research study, I know firsthand how vital research is. Participating in a clinical trial gave me access to new treatment options, and it’s through this research that progress is made.
Now recovered and back to volunteering with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Temecula Valley Mounted Posse, I am reminded daily of life’s preciousness as I serve my community. Every moment spent giving back reinforces the value of life, strengthening my commitment to being a voice for advancing cancer research and appreciating each day that I can do both.
Support cancer research, advocate for funding, and never underestimate the power of being even a small part of the solution!
