Celebrating 38 years of FUN, Bowl for Kids’ Sake has been the largest and most important annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio. In 2020, this event raised more than $433,000 in essential operating revenue. This accomplishment enables us to provide children with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. We transform the lives of children who are in need of a positive role model, and inspire them to become confident, competent, and caring individuals in our community. Research has proven the unquestionable benefits of mentoring and the need for our programs continues to grow at an unprecedented rate.

This year we need your help more than ever. No one could have anticipated the challenges we’re facing today. Despite social distancing, we are committed to keeping our Bigs and Littles connected through technology and increased support. Our program is an essential service, and we need your investment in our mission to ensure we keep kids connected.

An analysis identified an expected $240,000 shortfall in forecasted budget due to fundraising event cancellations and a drop in individual and corporate giving. These funds directly affect the operating budget of our agency.
