Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County’s Bowl for Kids’ Sake (BFKS) is back—and this year, we’re celebrating 60 years of impact with a throwback twist! 

Our Decades theme invites you to pick your favorite era, dress the part, and bowl through the decades as we honor six decades of mentorship and community support.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a multi-night bowling fundraiser filled with prizes, games, music, and friendly competition. Community members and local companies form teams of 4–6 people to raise funds supporting our mission, then celebrate their success with a fun night of bowling—all while making a real difference for kids in our community.

New to BFKS? Here's how it works:

​1. Register or Join a Team: 
Registration: $30 for adults, $20 for Bigs, $5 for Littles/children

Each registration includes two games of bowling, shoe rental, and a 60th Anniversary T-shirt

Not bowling? Register as a non-bowler for $10 to get a T-shirt and join in the fun from the sidelines!

2. Start Fundraising: 

Teams that raise $500 or more before their bowling night earn a pizza and a pitcher of their choice

Every dollar raised helps support more kids through one-to-one mentoring relationships

3. Bowl & Have Fun: 

Choose from three bowling nights at locations across Dane County. Each event is a celebration of your impact, featuring decade-inspired music, games, raffles, prizes, and plenty of retro fun.

When you participate in Bowl for Kids’ Sake, you help ignite the potential of nearly 500 kids in our community—and move us closer to matching the almost 200 kids still waiting for a mentor. Your support helps build strong, lasting one-to-one mentoring relationships that change lives.
