About Bowl for Kids' Sake 2021
COVID-19 has been challenging for many, and we here at BBBS are no exception. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us to cancel Bowl for Kids' Sake in 2020, and with the uncertainty still present this year, we've made the decision to cancel in-person bowling for 2021 as well.
That being said, there's still a way to help! Join us as a virtual bowler and raise money to help support our Bigs and Littles in this challenging time. Any support makes a Big difference.
We hope you continue staying safe and healthy, and we hope to see you back at a live bowling event in 2022.

Bowl for Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters largest national fundraiser, raising over $20 million annually for children in need across the country. Because of Bowl for Kids' Sake, more Bigs and Littles can be paired up, more friendships can be created and improved outlooks on life can be started.

THE IMPACT OF MENTORING
Time and time again, research shows that one-to-one mentoring can change the trajectory of an at-risk child, and help ignite their full potential. This is why Big Brothers Big Sisters does what we do.
Locally, our Bigs have helped our Littles increase their academic success, decrease their risk of using drugs or alcohol, decrease violent behaviors, and stay in school.
Nationally, we've found that 75% of at-risk youth with a caring adult mentor go on to graduate with a 4-year college degree. This compares to only 15% of their at-risk peers without a mentor.
Currently, 56 local kids are waiting for a mentor. By participating in Bowl for Kids' Sake, you help us recruit new mentors and hire additional match coordinators, steps to help us shrink that number to zero.
