About Billy Lindsay Run, Presented by TRIA, 2024
The 2024 Billy Lindsay Run will be the biggest and best in the event's history! 2024 will have CHIP TIMING, GREAT PRIZES, and MORE RUNNERS. Thank you to everyone that joined us in 2023. We raised over $60,000! We can't wait to make this an even bigger event in 2023 by raising our goal of $84,000! The average cost to serve one student per year is $1,200. So the goal of this event is to raise enough to support the cost of 70 students.

- Billy Lindsay: The run/walk is named after Dr. William Lindsay, renowned heart surgeon, friend and coach to many. Dr. Lindsay, a.k.a. Billy Lindsay, was motivated by a powerful mentor to pursue his dreams, and we've now named our Outdoor Rink on the Minneapolis Greenway in his honor. Here is a link to his story.

Your Support Makes a Difference
Billy Lindsay is the namesake of our DinoMights rink. He grew up at the playground and found mentors in his sports coaches. His story embodies so much of who we are at DinoMights. We will be using funds from the run to support programming and honor Billy Lindsay's legacy. We are honored to welcome TRIA as the Presenting Sponsor. We are also proud to welcome the Minnesota Wild as supporters of the run.
We recently installed refrigeration at the Billy Lindsay Rink! This means that our outdoor rink will be open for an extra 4-6 weeks. Dino participants will have increased opportunities to skate, and be mentored at the upgraded facility. We'll be increasing the number of staff and amount of time that staff interact with youth. We would like to raise $84,000 to support the costs of expanded programming. It costs an average of $1,200 per year per student served. So for every $1,200 raised, you are supporting the cost of 1 DinoMights youth. We hope to raise the cost of 70 youth in this campaign. You are helping to make that happen for hundreds of amazing local youth!
