About BOJF Virtual 5k
Starting on #GivingTuesday (12/1/2020) we are rallying all Infertility Warriors, friends and families by launching our first virtual 5k. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to help support our mission. Our mission is advocating for infertility education and awareness and removing financial barriers by granting monetary awards to couples who require fertility treatments to have their own bundle of joy. Most importantly, we wish for the #BOJ5k to provide a fun way to gather with friends and family, providing a joyful holiday season for our community.
GET MOVING: Together, we will rally you to log your miles online throughout the month of December and January, while raising funds to support couples struggling with infertility. Participants can walk, run, swim, bike, row or create their own activity. NOTE: 5k is 3.1 miles.
FUNDRAISING: Each participant will set their own fundraising dollar goal. Participants who raise $118 will automatically receive the Inaugural Bundle of Joy 5k collectible t-shirt. Participants who raise $3,000 will receive a dinner for two (2) at Fahrenheit Charlotte during National Infertility Awareness Week (4/18/2021 - 4/24/2021).
SOCIAL MEDIA: Registered participants can upload and share pictures of their progress through their personal fundraising webpage and on social media using hashtag #BOJ5k and tag @BundleofJoyFund. Be sure to check the LEADERBOARD on the website to find out who has earned top bragging rights each day!
POST-EVENT CELEBRATION: Registered Participants will be invited to join in a virtual VIP celebration prior to the 2021 DAYTONA 500.
